 About Caroline (she/ her)

  • Hello,

I’m Caroline, thanks for checking out my website. Here’s a bit about me…

I’m a Functional Medicine health coach, ADHD coach and EFT tapping practitioner, based in London.

I’m riding the menopause rollercoaster with ADHD, and truthfully, it’s working out well.

But that definitely WASN’T THE CASE a while back.

A combination of undiagnosed ADHD and a shift further into perimenopause, left me burnt out and unable to work or do pretty much any of the things I’d always loved. Even getting out the house took an immense amount of effort.

Fortunately as a health coach, I had the knowledge and resources to start digging into what was happening and discover what I needed to recover my health.

Sure, I’m still menopausal and ADHD but now I can navigate the fluctuations and make the most of the upsides (yes, there are upsides to both!) and enjoy a full life.

    So what’s the secret?

I firmly believe that people are healthier and happier when they deeply listen and respond to what their body and mind are telling them. Never mind what seems to be working for anyone else.

It’s been quite a journey of discovery for me to understand that about myself and finally meet my needs with honesty and compassion. Transformational, I’d say, and this isn’t overstating it.

Other things you might want to know…

I’m a mum of one daughter. The pregnancy, birth and aftermath were rough but we got through it. She’s my favourite human.

I love working. Maybe it’s the ADHD, but being busy and connecting with people fills me up. I work mostly one-to-one but love groups too - there’s power in group energy.

My background is Functional Medicine health coaching, giving a broad root-cause approach to recovery and symptom management, through:

    • Exercise

    • Nutrition

    • Sleep

    • Stress Management

    • And Community

And my favourite tool that I use is EFT because it helps to calm the brain, process difficult emotions and remove the things that get in the way of health and happiness.

Finally, I’d like to add: I’m sunshine and showers. If I’m not laughing, I’m crying. I used to find it embarrassing but I’ve realised my ability to feel has given me a lot of empathy. I’m a happy person despite (or maybe because) of all the feels.

If you’ve lost touch with what you really need and want, what brings you joy and energy, and your physical or mental health are suffering, I’m here for it. All of it. Exactly as you are.

If you’re ready to trust that things can get better, even if you don’t know how you’ll get there, book an intro call.

  • ‘During a challenging transition in my life, Caroline provided a safe and positive space where I could work toward my goals. Up until that point I’d felt overwhelmed with the task, but Caroline helped me to break my goals down into smaller, more manageable chunks, and enabled me to recognise my progress along the way. Most importantly Caroline helped me to think differently, being much kinder to myself during the process. I’ve loved working with her and can’t thank her enough.’

    — Claire, High Wickham

‘Highly recommend Caroline as a health coach (5 stars!) due to her professional, enthusiastic and supportive manner. Found the entire coaching experience to be motivating, to the extent I accomplished my goals.’

    — Tricia, Scotland

‘I have always thought a lot about my goals and plans. Caroline brought my thoughts to actions which literally changed the dynamic in my new life in this new city. I had been thinking without acting for one whole year. Caroline managed to help me flip to a new and bright page of my book. I enjoyed being heard and I believe everyone deserves to be heard.

    ‘Thank you Caroline!’

     — Joan, London

‘My EFT sessions with Caroline were powerful experiences for me which resulted in a much deeper understanding of my feelings about my wider family dynamics and also some pathways which Caroline helped me develop about different approaches I could take in the future.

‘Caroline's listening skills are phenomenal and she has an amazing ability to summarise what she has heard. Listening to her helped me develop my thinking and understanding in a way I hadn't expected.

‘The physical element of EFT weaves into Caroline's speech in a way which I can't pretend to understand but definitely works!’

    — Mary, London

‘I did EFT tapping with Caroline to help with the anxiety I was suffering due to multiple things life was throwing at me all at once, including a difficult family relationship, menopause and significant work stress. Caroline is an extremely good coach. She instantly put me completely at ease. I found the tapping really helpful and grounding. I have used it since as a technique by myself. I thoroughly recommend both Caroline and the EFT tapping. ‘

    — Fern, York

‘The EFT sessions I had with Caroline helped me overcome my fear … to a level that meant I could deal with my anxiety and have some much needed treatments, I will use the techniques again and again.’

    — Nelly, London.

‘New to EFT tapping and coaching, I’m happy I trusted Caroline. I was amazed by the results.’

    — Nina, Brussels

    — Kary, Texas

‘I really feel as though something has lifted/shifted...Thank you so much I really have achieved the emotional freedom... that I needed.'

    — Aileen, London

    Workshops

‘We brought Caroline in to run an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) workshop for Pride in Wellness at Canary Wharf, and it was an instant hit with our 20 participants.

‘Warm, engaging, and deeply supportive, Caroline creates a space where everyone feels safe to explore personal challenges. She asked curious yet impactful questions that encouraged us to reflect on the changes we wanted to make and how to get the most out of the session.

‘I love how Caroline made EFT accessible, engaging, and highly practical — even those completely new to it could follow along with ease. Caroline helps people approach change with self-acceptance and self-compassion, rather than expectation and pressure.

‘The session left everyone feeling calmer, more connected, and confident in using EFT to support their own wellbeing. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Caroline to any organisation looking to give their teams or communities a practical, inclusive, and truly transformative wellbeing experience.’

  • Functional Medicine goes beyond symptoms of poor health and vitality to look at contributing factors – what you put in your body, how you use it and your genetics.

We may not be able to change our genes but we can really influence how they are expressed by the choices we make.

As an FM health coach, trained in positive psychology, motivational interviewing, Functional Medicine principles, psychology of eating, IFM food plans and mind-body techniques, I can support you to identify what makes you tick as well as providing you with solid, well researched information and techniques around diet, movement, stress and sleep, empowering you to take charge of your health.

  • ADHD coaching combines both traditional coaching methods to support you to get to where you want to be in a way that’s uniquely you, with learning proven strategies to address the full range of ADHD symptoms.

This might include challenges such as:

    • impulsivity

    • hyperactivity

    • time management

    • organisation

    • problem-solving

    • chaos and clutter

    • overspending

    • overwhelm and burnout

    • intense emotional reactions

    • rejection sensitivity

ADHD coaching supports you to work with your brain and celebrate the unique strengths of ADHD, so that you can harness the strategies you need to thrive.

I also bring a Functional Medicine perspective to living well with ADHD, addressing:

    • sleep

    • nutrition

    • movement

    • relaxation

    • support networks

  • With EFT or ‘tapping’, the power is in your hands.

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique, a gentle, non-invasive tool that, as the name suggests, helps us gain freedom from strong emotions, ingrained beliefs that hold us back, and even physical issues such as pain and cravings.

It involves using the fingers to tap on acupuncture points, on the face and body, while focusing on the issue at hand.

I think of it like peeling back an onion skin, the layers of superficial but strong emotions are gradually peeled away to get to the core of an issue, allowing it to be understood more clearly, acknowledged and released.

The technique is useful for letting go of unconscious or long-held patterns of behaviour or thinking. If you find yourself caught in repeated loops and you're ready to move on, EFT can be a very effective tool.

It also helps deal with issues that feel intense now, reducing the intensity, and allowing you to take a step back and decide the best way to act rather than react.
